Dermal fillers are an effective treatment to increase volume loss in facial areas such a lips, cheeks and jaws. The injections are made of a natural gel called hyaluronic acid - a substance found in many areas of our body. As we get older, our bodies stop producing collagen and elastin levels drop which cause the skin to wrinkle and 'sag'. Dermal fillers help restore that lost volume. Depending on how your body reacts to the filler, they  the results last from 6 to 18 months. A comprehensive initial consultation will be undertaken before any treatment takes place so the patient understands the risks and benefits of dermal filler.

Dermaroller is used to eliminate skin imperfections such as acne scarring and  signs of ageing by traumatising the skin in order to generate rebuilding collagen fibers. Collagen is a protein within our body that contributes to the skin looking youthful and plump.
How does it work? The treatment is carried out with a medical device that has tiny needles (as seen in picture).  This device is rolled over the affected area and carefully punctures the skin (without damaging it). The pricks from the needle stimulate new collagen and elastin production. This process improves the appearance of wrinkles, scarring and pores giving a smoother, radiant complexion. You will start to see results around 6 weeks post treatment and these can last for up to 6 months. A comprehensive initial consultation will take place before treatment is provided so that the patient is fully informed on the risks and benefits of the Dermaroller procedure.

It's no secret that Lasers have become the go-to medical device for many aesthetic treatments over the last 10 years. The global advances in Laser technology gives way to the multitude of uses that they provide in both reconstructive and aesthetic skin procedures from extensive burns and scar healing to cosmetic facial rejuvenation and hair removal. Lasers deliver short concentrated beams of light to chosen areas which prompts the skin to react with a powerful healing response, thus the rejuvenation and restoration of certain areas. Lasers are very powerful pieces of equipment and should only be operated by specially trained medical professionals with the necessary experience. Treatment for both rejuvenation and IPL hair removal is performed over a sequence of multiple sessions. Your Laser practitioner will design a treatment plan relevant to your needs.
